Harlingen has been the cradle of Frisian faience since 1598. Here, as one of the last in its sort, the Harlinger Faience and Tile Factory manufactures faience and tiles using the authentic techniques.
Following a more than 400-year-old tradition, extensive knowledge of clay, glazing and pigments is translated into high-quality ceramic creations varying from classic to modern design.
We take this traditional art very seriously and guarantee completely hand formed, hand glazed and hand painted products as you can see from the logo.
